LITTLE EXPLORERSTM lets children enter the World Wide Web and sample diverse knowledge and culture from around the world, with many educational benefits.
In the process of surfing the web, children access the entries by their first letter, thus getting incidental reading experience and spelling practice. By using the alphabet in order to find a desired topic, young children learn how to read without consciously trying, and older kids will improve their reading skills. For more information, please see our Educator's Guide to Little Explorers
There is an index of the entries by topic, useful in lesson planning.
